Possum Trot was one of the first ten championship courses built along the Grand Strand, which now has more than 100 golf courses. Known as the "Friendliest Course on The Beach," Possum Trot was designed to give the average gentleman or lady golfer a pleasantly challenging experience. The Old English design features spacious fairways, challenging par 5's, as well as manicured greens and impressive flower displays. In 2005, Golf Digest named Possum Trot the "Most underrated Golf Course in Myrtle Beach".
